Does it matter if you angle it forward or backward? If angling backwards is a must I will have to move my exhaust (which is the least of concerns). I can go strait up, but if I do so I will loose 2.5" of space/height in doing so where-as if I angle I gain that. Inboard engines are equivalent to automotive engines as far as repairs and most maintenance although there is a cooling system that may need somewhat specialized maintenance, service and winterization.
